About Business Development Agency of Karlovy Vary Region

Our agency was established in 2010 as a contributory organization funded by the Karlovy Vary Region to promote the competitiveness of the Karlovy Vary Region.

Our mission

Development of the innovation environment within the region (support for the introduction of innovations in companies based in the Karlovy Vary Region, establishing and developing cooperation between the business sector and research organizations),
Support for available and quality human resources (organization of seminars, workshops, cooperation on educational and school activities),
Development of the entrepreneurial environment (mapping the needs of the business sector, trends in the labor market, business development tools),
promoting entrepreneurship, sharing entrepreneurial experience with students and young people,
implementation of marketing events with the aim to change the image of the Karlovy Vary Region (www.zijemeregionem.cz),
mapping of industrial zones and brownfields,
cooperation on educational and school activities and on international projects
organization of seminars, workshops, and networking
consultancy in the area of subsidies,
services for investors.

For years we have collaborated with many regional and national entities, including universities, high schools, business organizations, municipalities, cities, authorities, state institutions, research centers, professional chambers, interest groups and associations, and professional platforms.

Ours is a well-established, trustworthy organization with a stable position in the region where our mission and specific activities are irreplaceable.
